A witch is a special kind of woman chosen by the deities of the Abyss, marked by having endured the most excruciating torment imaginable. The greater the suffering she endures, the more terrifying and supernatural the power she can draw upon. Yet, their personalities often become twisted, malevolent, and cruel—a ticking time bomb lurking within modern society and human civilization. To safeguard humanity, these witches must be eliminated. — “But what if we can’t defeat the witch?” “For now, retreat and request support from headquarters.” “And what if escape isn’t possible?” “Try to negotiate with her. As the section chief spoke, corresponding images flashed across Chen Zi’ang’s sunglasses: a three-dimensional structure map of Sky Ginza’s north area, and the facial features and physical data of their target, Tsugio Kawai.
“Be careful,” the voice continued through the earpiece. “After realizing someone alerted the authorities, the target didn’t attack but instead chose to hide and vanished. You’ll need to first confirm his current location.”
“Understood.” Chen Zi
