...The blind monk’s jungle maneuvers left Feng Yisheng speechless. He watched as the blind monk suddenly stopped attacking the dragon and, with his W shield activated, began tanking the dragon’s damage instead.

The dragon still had eight hundred health left. If Feng went down to contest, it would likely come down to a Smite battle.

An idea sparked in Feng’s mind. He immediately used EQ to descend, then trapped the blind monk and the dragon within his ultimate, and promptly used Smite to finish off the dragon.

For a moment, the blind monk was stunned—he hadn’t realized the game could be played this way.

Jarvan’s ultimate was, after all, a courageous leap onto the enemy, dealing physical damage to all foes within the area. The physical bonus was 1.5 times extra AD; combined with his ultimate, the damage plus Smite was just enough to secure the fire dragon, which had under eight hundred health remaining.

What’s more, Jarvan’s level two ultimate had left the blind monk with less than half his health.

Realizing he couldn’t win a fight against Jarvan, the blind monk immediately flashed out of the ultimate’s range. He couldn’t use W to hop away, since the ability was still on cooldown from tanking the dragon moments ago.

Feng Yisheng, piloting Jarvan, didn’t give chase—he was out of skills.

With E still on cooldown, there was no way to follow up with an EQ combo.

Still, denying the enemy their second dragon was already a huge win.

“What were you doing? How did you die? And the dragon was stolen!” the Lissandra on the purple side fired off three questions in quick succession.

She’d been suppressed by the enemy Vladimir all game, her mood already sour, and now with their jungler dead and the dragon lost, her frustration peaked. If their ranks were any lower, the whole team would probably be ready to surrender.

The blind monk said nothing, waiting until he’d respawned in base to finally admit, “That one’s on me.”

Seeing him own up, the rest refrained from piling on further blame.

……

Eighteen minutes into the match, Feng Yisheng returned to base and picked up a Youmuu’s Ghostblade. With that item complete, the flow of the game was firmly in his hands.

On leaving the fountain, he tapped the tab key and saw that bot lane was difficult to gank. His side was running Tristana with Soraka support against the enemy’s Varus and Braum.

If the AD carries and supports had been switched, Feng would have gladly gone for a gank. As things stood, mid lane was his best bet. He messaged their Vladimir, “Does Lissandra have flash?”

“She does, but even if she didn’t, she’s a tough catch—plays super safe, only last-hits low health minions, never crosses the river. But it’s fine, I’m pressuring her hard. Go help other lanes, I’m about to take her turret,” Vladimir replied, brimming with confidence.

With Vladimir so self-assured, Feng Yisheng, after clearing his upper jungle, hurried top.

Switching to the top lane view, he saw Jax playing more cautiously than before, not even crossing the river.

Did he really think he’d escape a gank that easily? Not a chance.

“Malphite, push the wave into the turret, I’ll gank. Once you ult him, just tank three turret shots then back off—don’t get stunned by Jax.”

“Got it!” Malphite understood that with Jarvan on his team, all he had to do was follow orders to secure the win.

Feng Yisheng swept through with the scanner—no wards.

Malphite quickly shoved the wave under turret. Feng wasn’t certain they’d kill Jax, but if Jax tried to defend, it would be a guaranteed kill. At worst, they’d force him out and take first tower, which was still a win.

Just then, the enemy mid turret fell, the sound effect echoing. They’d have to settle for second tower, which was still worthwhile.

As Feng approached, Malphite initiated with his ultimate. Jax immediately responded with a flash, but Malphite predicted his position and combined his ult with a flash, catching Jax anyway. Impressive!

Not only that, he caught the blind monk as well, who’d been hiding in the brush near the two stone golems, waiting to countergank. As Jax was ulted, blind monk flashed in and threw up a W shield.

But the enemy Jax had ulted with a flash and caught the blind monk too.

“Nice!” Feng Yisheng exclaimed. Now was the moment—he flashed in with EQ, knocking both targets up, then dropped his ultimate on top of them.

The unfortunate blind monk was dead before he could land any damage.

With Malphite’s level two ultimate and Jarvan built for full damage, killing a squishy jungler was child’s play.

Jax could only wait for death. He tried to Q to a ward, but was slowed by both Malphite’s Q and Jarvan’s W.

Jax did escape Jarvan’s ultimate with his Q, but nearly two full seconds of slow left him easily run down by Malphite and Jarvan.

Jarvan claimed the kill.

Unstoppable!

With five kills in hand, Jarvan was now a juggernaut.

At the twenty-minute mark, Feng Yisheng returned to base, bought a Stopwatch and a B.F. Sword, ready to build Guardian Angel.

Once Guardian Angel was finished, he could fight however he pleased.

Warrior jungle item, Youmuu’s, Duskblade, Mobility Boots, and soon a Guardian Angel—by twenty minutes, Jarvan was nearly full build.

Other than himself, the most fed player in the match was Vladimir, who’d managed only Protobelt, Sorcerer’s Shoes, Rabadon’s, and Zhonya’s.

Jarvan was now a divine force—no one could stand in his way.

He was also level sixteen, the highest in the game. Level sixteen not only boosts stats, but often elevates champions’ damage to a whole new level.

After clearing his lower jungle, Feng Yisheng made his way straight to bot lane.

He messaged, “Push the wave up.”

His bot lane complied; Tristana used E and four autos to blow up the backline minions.

As the wave crossed the river, the enemy lost vision.

Jarvan hugged the wall through the brush, calculated the distance, and instantly EQ’d onto Varus, following up with his ultimate and an auto attack. The fourteen-level Varus was deleted.

Varus hadn’t dodged Jarvan’s knockup, but against a level sixteen full-damage Jarvan, just the ultimate alone was enough to kill him—even Electrocute didn’t have time to trigger.

Varus didn’t even get a chance to flash, and Braum was powerless to do anything but watch his AD carry die right in front of him.
