Chapter Twenty-One: Upheaval at the Inn (Part One)
“I’m telling you, my brother will be back any moment now. If you don’t leave, you’ll all end up dead.”
Bai Xing refused to give up, continuing her verbal attacks to disrupt Fatty’s progress with the lock.
“You little thing, your brother won’t be coming back. Haven’t you seen how many zombies are outside? Open the door and maybe we’ll let you live.”
“Otherwise, when we break in, you’ll find out what real pleasure means.”
Bai Xing fell silent; intimidation was clearly useless.
While they kept working on the lock, Bai Xing began moving things.
That morning, she had consumed five first-tier upgrade crystals, which had greatly strengthened her body, making her as strong as a grown man.
First, she dragged the cabinet over to brace the door. That wasn’t enough, so she moved the sofa as well.
Whatever heavy objects she could find in the room, Bai Xing carried them all to the entrance. When exhausted, she drank water and ate something, then continued.
More than an hour passed, and the doorway was piled high with furniture, yet Bai Xing’s heart remained uneasy.
The lock on this luxury suite in a five-star hotel was indeed formidable. It held until noon; finally, with a startled shout from Fatty, the lock clicked open.
“Damn girl, just you wait. I’ll make you taste every position... Huh, why won’t it budge?”
Fatty cursed as he tried to push the door, but it didn’t move an inch.
“Move aside, you useless lard! Too much fun lately, huh? Can’t even push a door?”
Brother Qi
